Renwood Old Vine Zinfandel

Our Premier Old Vine Zinfandel is a compilation of some of the most exceptional icon vineyards that we source from. The wine expresses itself aromatically with nuances of fresh blackberry and cranberry with ever so subtle hints of savory dried herbs. The tannin structure is finely polished, and its juicy backbone is the major player from front to back in this classic beauty. Well balanced acidity ensures it will age famously over the next several years. Drink now through 2022. Vintage: 2015 The 2015 vintage was excellent overall. It was the earliest and most compact harvest on record for us here at Renwood Winery. Due to ongoing drought conditions, yields were down a bit compared to the previous vintage, but fruit balance and physiological ripeness were optimal across all varieties. Smaller berries and resulting clusters have produced wines of significant intensity, color and grace.
