Copper Dog Blended Malt Scotch
Born of the warm and welcoming Copper Dog pub in the Craigellachie Hotel, Speyside, our whisky is inspired by the resourceful rascals of Speyside. Rebelling against the heavy taxation of whisky in the early eighteenth century, these distillery workers fashioned bits of copper tubing called ‘Copper Dogs’, to smuggle out the Scotch they made and share it with friends and family. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to gather with great Scotch, just as those crafty distillery workers
