Clos Pegase is renowned for its handcrafted collection of award-winning wines, sourced exclusively from their 410 acres of estate vineyards. The Clos Pegase Pinot Noir offers up a silky texture on the palate, along with the crisp tannins, delivers a pleasurable fruit driven experience. Subtle oak aromas intermingle with cherry, rhubarb and spice on the nose. The expansive palate delivers lots of red fruits, smooth acidity and a long finish. Mitsuko’s Vineyard, located in the cool Carneros region, has proven over the years to have an abundance of ideal sites for Pinot Noir. Purchased by Clos Pegase as bare land in 1989, the winery has continued to refine the vineyard’s plantings in order to maximize the site’s potential, and subsequently, the Clos Pegase Pinot Noir continues to evolve each year.
