Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc
Lede Family Wines was established in 2002 by Cliff Lede following the acquisition of 60 acres in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, creating Cliff Lede Vineyards. Cliff’s love for creating and building things led to the opening of the adjacent Poetry Inn in 2005 and the purchase of the famed Savoy Vineyard in Anderson Valley in 2011. The company evolved to become Lede Family Wines, integrating Lede’s three distinct wine labels: Cliff Lede, Poetry, and FEL Wines. Estate vineyards are the backbone of Cliff Lede’s Stags Leap District offerings with 60 acres comprised of steep rocky hillside and gravelly valley floor. Stags Leap District is widely regarded as one of Napa Valley’s best regions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Christopher Tynan crafts an array of small lot Bordeaux-style blends, highlighted by the flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, Poetry. FEL Wines is anchored by our 44-acre estate Savoy Vineyard in the Anderson Valley. Recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producing vineyards in California, the Savoy Vineyard supplies the fruit for our flagship Pinot Noir and other notable producers’ vineyard designate wines. Winemaker Ryan Hodgins also sources fruit from other acclaimed sites in Anderson Valley and the Sonoma Coast, producing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris.
