Ceretto Barbaresco

Ceretto Barbaresco DOCG Red Wine aromas of crushed red fruit, tobacco, rose petals and white peppers. Full-bodied, this red wine is rich and flavorful with dried-strawberry, white-truffle and mushroom undertone. Expressing the hallmarks of Dolcetto, this wine is soft on the palate, with well-integrated acidity, nuances of cured leather, dried cranberries, fresh strawberries, licorice and undertones of roasted hazelnuts. Pair this red wine with a charcuterie board or with roasted chicken or turkey. The grapes from each site are vinified and aged separately. After two years ageing in oak barrels and large oak casks, the blocks are then blended and balance is achieved. Alessandro is striving for “a perfect harmony and expression of Nebbiolo, and also it has to be delicious.“ This wine is a true classical expression of the DOCG Barbaresco, an area known for its structure and elegance. Made with a ‘classic winemaking approach,’ the premise behind each vintage of the Ceretto family’s Dolcetto is to preserve the primary characteristics of this delightful grape varietal.
