Angry Bunch Lodi Zinfandel
The name Angry Bunch refers to the boldly flavored style produced from burly old-vine Zinfandel. The Code of the Angry Bunch ensures that only fully ripe and ready grapes bursting with flavor become part of any Angry Bunch Zin. This wine is a blend from Lodi Ranches surrounding the Mokelumne River where some of California’s oldest Zinfandel vines are farmed. Soils are diverse with primarily granite cobble deposited centuries ago from the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Cool Delta Breezes blanket the area during the growing season resulting in layers of ripe fruit flavors, firm acidity, and fine structure.
