Finca Nueva Rosado
Finca Nueva Rosado Rosé Wine contains prevalent red-fruit aromas of strawberry, cherry, red currant and raspberry. Fresh, fruit-forward, fine and balanced, this ‘cheerful’ style of rose wine combines the aromatic expressiveness of a warm vintage with the elegance and well-balanced acidity of a cold vintage. This Spanish blush wine received 91 points from James Suckling in 2020. The organically fertilized and sustainably farmed vineyards are located north of Madrid in Rioja Alta, Spain. During harvest, clusters are usually hand-picked and manually sorted. Grapes are destemmed and upon arrival at the winery, grape clusters are lightly crushed and gently pressed using a vertical basket press. Static free run of the juice occurs over 48 hours, and the juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks during 20 days at a temperature of 61°F. Pair this rosé with soft cheese, like brie and goat cheese or hummus and flatbread. One 750mL bottle of Finca Nueva Rosado Rosé Wine has 13.3% alcohol by volume.
